INFANTS AND CHILDREN
We believe it’s important for children to begin dental visits at an early age and then continue to have routine exams through all stages of life. During an infant exam, we can help identify sources of nursing and feeding difficulties and developmental barriers and then recommend solutions. Toddler and early childhood dental visits help children become comfortable with fun appointments, while we monitor their oral growth and development, identify congenitally missing teeth, mal-aligned teeth, and sometimes oral or systemic diseases. We educate parents on how to help their babies, toddlers, and young children achieve good oral health. We can discuss the best home dental routines and how to avoid common dental problems in young children such as cavities and dental trauma. We can even help find sources for eating, speech, and sleep frustrations. Many problems, if caught and treated early, can help your child avoid surgery, other more extensive treatment later, or poor outcomes.
ADOLESCENTS AND YOUNG ADULTS
Dental exams allow for continued monitoring and treatment for growth and development, dental counseling for specific and common teenage and young adult dental problems such as gingivitis, dental cavities, and even cosmetic solutions to improve your important smile. Improving smiles can boost self image and confidence through this transitional life stage which often involves meeting new people in school and work. We want you to feel comfortable smiling wherever life is taking you.
ADULTS
We hope to enhance your quality of life. Studies have shown that regular dental appointments result in less missed work and school and will give you a smile that you can flash with confidence. We can help improve gum and tooth health to increase your overall health and nutrition, comfort, and self confidence. Our hygiene department, with your help at home, can treat gingivitis (a precursor to periodontal or gum disease) and also arrest the periodontal disease progression that can quietly become severe enough to cause pain, bone, and tooth loss if not treated.
Through dental sleep medicine, we help patients feel rested, resulting in increased productivity, improved relationships, avoiding life threatening medical complications, and better overall health.
We enjoy restoring teeth with tooth colored restorations, crowns, veneers, and even root canals if needed. We can replace missing teeth with implant retained crowns or bridges, partials, and complete dentures (including implant retained dentures).
